The Admission Process
When you contact us for help, a specialist member of our clinical team will conduct a confidential assessment to ascertain the best treatment options for you based on your individual circumstances and condition. You will then be matched with a member of our counseling team, who will support you throughout your journey at Cherrywood House.
Your Treatment Plan
Collaborating with you, your counselor will develop your Individual Recovery Plan. Your plan is unique to you, and will serve as the road map for your recovery journey.
Your personal counselor will assist you in preparing for your programme at Cherrywood House. You will be provided with a list of ‘what to bring along’, and other helpful information to assist you during your stay.
How we work
Once you arrive, our first priority is to help you feel a part of our community. We will get to know each other at your pace. You will be free to hold back for a couple of days while you become familiar with our programme without being under any pressure to “perform”. Remember, we know what it feels like to be in an unfamiliar environment and are here to ensure that you are welcomed.
With your consent, we will ensure that your loved ones are informed of your safe arrival and kept up to date. If you are coming to us from overseas, we will show you exactly why South Africans are known for their hospitality while you make Cherrywood House your home away from home.
We offer a full concierge, door-to-door service, assisting with visas, travel, and all other arrangements. Allow us to help you focus on your recovery, whilst we arrange the logistics for you.
