Cherryhouse is an internationally recognized Addictions Treatment Facility in registration with the relevant South African guidelines.
By law, religious orientations or practices cannot and will not be imposed upon any of our clients. Clients are free to practice their own and/or no religion whilst they are in our care.
Cherrywood House promotes and supports spiritual and religious expression. However our primary focus is addiction treatment. Please feel free to express your religious beliefs and practises as long as said beliefs do not :
1. Interfere with the daily program that we offer.
2. Interfere with other clients personal space and or routines.
We believe as an addiction treatment facility that before anything else can be achieved including religious/spiritual understanding, the addiction needs to be addressed first.
Visits to places of worship can be arranged as long as they fall within the framework of our ‘visiting’ and/or ‘leave of absence’ policies.Please enquire prior to admission for dietary specifications. Any other personal dietary requirements or preferences must be discussed with us before admission, in order to establish whether or not we will be able to assist in that regard.
